6" lift and level kit

Hey yall just wondering about this set up i was thinking bout doing, i have a 6" and a 1.5" level on my 05 f150 and i can see were the top a-arm is bottoming out on the spacer and cutting a line in it, which im certain is not good but is it going to hurt things, and how big of spacer has anyone else gone and have you had the same problem?

Is the lift a spacer lift, as in not replacement coilovers?

You need to either swap the 1.5" spacer for a pair of leveling struts, or swap the 6" lift spacer for a set of 6" struts. You can only have one spacer.

So if i swap the level spacer for a set of struts will tht be a skinnier setup and not bottom out?

This is what I was gonna say. But it would've just been repeating his original words lol

Is your A arm hitting because your angles are too extreme, and hitting under full droop?

hmm I hope this isn't the case but you are just running a 6" spacer and then a 1.5" spacer on top of that on top of your coil?

Well getting coilovers would be the better, but much more expensive, option. You may want them if you offroad a lot, but they cost a pretty penny. You should be able to run Bilstein 2" lift struts up front and not have any issues. The angles should (always gotta gotta say should cause this is "on paper") be the same as a stock truck with a 2" level, but because of the issue you're having, I'm curious as to whether or not your lift gave you a full 6" drop. What brand is it? And I assume 4wd?
