What are your align specs at now?

If you move the LCA (camber) at all it can severly affect to angles. You will need to align again.

The alignment is messed up Pat, they didn't tighten the bolts. The truck is all over the road. It's scary

forget about the small 1/8" dremel...you need the 1/4" one.

but you can do it with a simple 4" grinder taking your time and finishing the job with a file.
or drilling ..but it can be a pain.......or if you are really patient: file only :P
Would harbor Frieght have this? I don't want to spend money I'm sick of stupid alignments. Gonna have to pay for another one as it is. I am so sick of dealing with incompetent people. They waste my time (busy enough as it is)

I found a die grinder at harbor freight. I may pick it up and try the stock bolts to see if I can get the LCA zero'd out. If it can't, I'll elongate them. I just wish their was an easier way.

If your alignment spec were in spec went you have it done after lowering. no need to modify anything like Patman said.

Forget about aligning it by yourself. the spec need to be whitin ,5 degree.

The alignment has had camber since it was lowered, no one ever said it though. Interesting update though: The kit is not even utilized so the bolts still have full adjustment. I found a shop that does race cars and is highly rated online for lowered vehicles. They are willing to do it. Should be going in this Saturday. It's an hour drive, but they seem to be a hell of a shop for alignments around the Boston area... especially where they do race cars and road course cars.

Why didn't you take it back when the bolts moved and make them redo the alignment and fix their screw up?

I tried... believe me. I'm asking for my money back. The kid that did the alignment apologized and even said it did not look right. A different tech said it was fine. I can't handle idiots anymore.

This is my last semester thankfully. I'm gonna save for a 5.0 mustang for next fall. Then this baby is going down lower.

I just filed for a refund at corporate. Scheduled an alignment for next week as well. I have such terrible luck with vehicle work. I'm glad I keep learning to do stuff myself lol

Ok update and happy ending

Got my money back on Wednesday... they weren't happy but whateva

Went to a shop a little over an hour away... nailed it. Truck drives awesome, no weird behavior, shaking or anything. It's unreal to think that a poor alignment would cause such symptoms. Camber and all is within spec. Caster is just a hair off due to getting the camber in spec but that's fine. When I get to lowering with spindles and bring the shocks up to 1" of drop next year, I'm sure everything will be perfect.
