lowering my 2006 roush

I am wanting to lower my 06 Roush f150 fx4. Here are the parts I'm looking at:

1.Belltech adjustable struts 2"-3" drop

2. Belltech 3" drop shackles

3. Modify the rear bump stop to help drop the rear and level it out.

Has anyone used the 3" drop shackles? And how well do they work? Also I will have Roush side skirts how much clearance will I have?

3" drop shackles do not exist for that truck. You could do 2" shackles and remove the lift block and get close to 4" in rear

You're adjustable struts will drop more than expected since your 4x4 struts are longer than 2WD. You will get 1.5" more than advertised.

Belltech offers 3" drop shackles

The struts are adjustable +1" to -3" in .5" increments. I posted that wong.

I've personally installed several sets of 2" shackles on 04+ trucks, there isnt room for a longer shackle.

Belltech makes decent stuff, but their measurements are all jacked up.

My 2" hangers on my 03 actually dropped me 3" And they didnt fit worth a damn on the holes in my frame

Remove the rear blocks for a 2" drop. You'll need new u bolts.

Beltech front adjustable coiliver for 0-3" drop or I've heard of people using 2wd stock struts.

Here's my 2007 Lariat 4x4. Belltech drop struts set at 3" and a DJM 5" flip in the first pics. Ended up being right at a 4/6 drop, but the axles had some pretty bad angles on them. I ended up raising it all around, and waiting on bags for the rear.

BT Struts - part# 25001
BT Street Performance shocks - part# 2212EE
DJM 4" flip/hangers

Full drop - 4/6

Here we are at 2.5/4. Once the helpers are installed it should level out. The last one is a crappy pic, but I haven't had a chance to get more.

Swayzecrazy I saw your truck in another thread. It looks great! I would like a either a 2/4 or a 3/5 drop I don't want it to be too low.I don't want to be hitting on curbs and speed bumps or anything.
