Deaver F79 or Skyjacker FR15S

Well after getting some opinions on stacking add a leafs. I have decided to get full lift leafs. Either the deaver F79 which is 6'' lift. Or the skyjacker FR15S which is 5''. I will be using my 5'' lift blocks along with the leaf packs.

My questions are does anyone know if there is any modifications needed to be done to the axle, shackle hanger etc with either of these lift leafs? Also The skyjacker ones say they are for 4x4 But from what i can tell they have a single pin like my 2WD. Is there any difference and will they work on 2WD?

Get ready to have your driveshaft lengthened.
Wheel hop is probably going to be insane.

06 i would like not to have this thread end up like my stacking add a leaf thread. And remain on topic and discuss the topic at hand.

If you wanted useful threads you should not have spammed every thread you could before you got suspended and then rejoined the forum under a new name.

I'm giving you honest advice here. Stacking the two together is probably not a great idea.

For the price of the deavers I'd recommend either giving them, national, alcan, or atlas a call and see if they can just make you set for the right height.

I dont know peetz (short for pizza) Im going to guess that if i get a custom 10'' leaf pack made its going to be a heck of a lot more expensive than either one i mentioned.

I don't understand though why i shouldn't be able to add my block under the lift leafs. Buxton said wheel hop. But it's no different than putting the blocks under the stock springs. Am i wrong?

The wheel hop will be a lot worse than with the stock leafs. It could be fixed with a set of trac bar's but again your looking at like an extra 500 or so for those. Iirc it runs from like 600+ depending what all options you choose and the companies you go with for custom springs.

Honestly, for the price of the Deavers it probably won't be much more to buy a set of custom leafs.

Your prolly right. Im gonna get some prices for a custom 10'' pack. If its way more then im going to go with the skyjackers with my 5'' block and get a set of trac bars and be done.
