That'll maybe drop you a 1/2" like mossy said.

 

If you want to pick the front up a little, then just put a 1" spacer in and use your airbags to level it out just right. Or tighten the aftermarket coil overs a little to raise it 1/2" or so. I'm assuming you're getting a lift that has aftermarket coil overs since you were thinking about putting the leveling kit on

 

Yeah or just new 6" struts like the BDS, skyjacker, or Bilstein ones.

 

wasnt going to do coilovers to save on up front cost. maybe in the future though

 

If you're keeping stock coilovers then the lift will come with a 6" spacer. It's not a good idea to put a leveling kit on top of that spacer and have 7-8.5" of lift made of two spacers. Don't take my word 100% on this, and somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but if you want more front lift than 6" then you could get Rancho (or another company) leveling struts. I think that's safe and compatible with the 6" spacer your lift will come with. Research that idea before you do it though. I could be wrong

i'd do the bilsteins over rancho's tho to get the extra inch or 2 of lift.



i think in the outdoor section someone posted a double spacer stack, control arm hit the upper of the stock coil assembly. Don't stack spacers.

 

I saw a truck on here that has a rough country six inch lift and the bilsteins and the lower control arms were at quite an angle. May just do the lift and forget the bumper for now

 

Bumping a 6" kit up to 8" does make your cv axle and control arm angles look kind of bad, but I'm assuming it must not cause problems cause tons of people do it. Somebody tell me if it's a bad idea because I'm going to do it when these tires wear out

rcx, while i havent' verified this, also offers a 4" lift. I think the 6" lift is a bumped 4" lift causing ****ty angles if you try to gain any more than ~6" even though it's a "6" lift".

I'd go with a different brand lift if it was me.

He mentioned RCX is what he wants, or what he saw so for that set up i do not believe it'd work. I might be wrong, but i'd do research if i was him before i bought that lift and found i was limited to 6" max.

For your pro comp go for it. Your angles shouldn't be bad, fx4 for life 79's 6" pro comp at 8" still almost had horizontal angles.

 

06f150cfct not sure when u put ur bds lift on but just had a 4 inch bds lift put on in May and it required welding not sure how much but I saw it in the directions just thought I would give a heads up
