Those coilovers can definitely be cranked up a couple inches which will help. I can't tell from your pictures if its rubbing anything inside or not. What I did was turn the wheel into the valance and trimmed about 1/2 inch above where it was rubbing. Hasn't given me problems since. That's a good looking truck man.

thanks alot....

BUT.... early dec it had a hit and run done to it, and today some bozo who couldnt drive hit my front end....grrr...

nothing insurance wont fix thou.

cranking the coilovers, how exactly can i do it. i have the "wrenches" but should it be on a hoist, or just sit on the ground, will i need another front end alignment? when i called procomp, they said i should not adjust them, but never really gave me a reason why, just said that they had them set for best performance coming from the factory. i honestly wasnt getting anywhere when i was talking to him, mostly because im new at this and really wasnt explaining myself as well as i should have i guess.

since the pics i have added recon smoked tail lights and third light, this spring / summer ill complete the front with HID's i think.

I don't have my coilovers installed yet but I'm thinking you want the front end on a jack. It should make it a lot easier. But I do know for sure you are going to need an alignment after. I'm not sure why the guy would have told you not to crank them up? If they weren't supposed to be done, they wouldn't have made them adjustable. It will most likely make the ride a little stiffer, but that's no reason to say not to do it.

You will want to lift the truck up and take all tension off the coilovers. The tool stated in previous post will be needed. The top circle nut will need to be losened, then tighten the lower round nut. This will put more tension on the spring which will stiffen the front and not allow the front suspension to settle when you let it off the jack. The top nut will then eed to be tighten aganst the lower nut. I'm not sure how far to tighten to get you another 1". Some one on here with coil overs sshould be able to help out. If you lift the front you will also need to lift the rear.

I believe almost everyone on here whom has a leveling kit or lift has trimmed there front vallance.
