Do you know where it's rubbing? If it's just the lower valance that can be trimmed pretty easily and still look good. I'll try to post some pictures of that on mine. If you have a stage 2 lift you can crank your coilovers up an extra couple inches. I would not suggest adding a spacer if you already have a 6" spacer, but if you do you wouldn't be the first.

If these pictures work, they're kind of crappy, and the trim I did was crappy, but I honestly didn't care how it looked and it does show what needs to be done. You can make it look as pretty as you want.

you can crank your coil overs to get additional lift. you will need an alignment afterwards

As 06 said post pics of your front end. If you have aftermarket coilovers you can crank them to give you more clearance.

funny you say that. i called procomp awhile ago, explained everything and they said that nothing could be done. i knew they werent telling the truth on that as ive read and researched alot before i did the lift.

and ive seen / PM'd other people with the same set up and they have had no issues with rubbing. ive also parked beside a truck with a 6" ( althou it was a f-250 ) his looked so much higher then mine.

im totally lost. i know it is rubbing on the lower valence ( sp?) but my concern is when i go off road that it will hit other places as well

any idea how to crank the coilovers up?

thanks for your replies

To crank them you need a special tool, I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you what it's called. As soon as you post up pictures someone will let you know for sure if they can be cranked. Just from my own experience, after I trimmed my lower valance I've had no problems whatsoever with any type of rubbing at either wheel lock, on or off road, backing up or in reverse. Again, just my experience with my personal truck.

I'd assume you would use a spanner style wrench to adjust it (someone will probably prove me wrong) or you can take it to a shop to get done. I didn't have coil overs on my f150 so can't give you a 100% way to do it.

an f250 with 6" will sit a lot higher. My f250 with a 2" level and 35's hood height was w/in an inch of a 6" lifted 09 f150 on 35's.

Its called a spanner yes and the trimming will be one way to fix it. Cranking it up will possibly help also.
