Want to go taller.HOW?

So I have the fabtech 7.5" lift for my 1998 2wd f150 and I want to go taller. The lift already sits pretty bulldogged and I don't really like that. I wanted to add a 1.5 spacer up front which will bring me to 9" front and 5" rear. I want to bring the rear up to 8" but not sure how and I want to keep the fabtech block. Please tell me what to do.

So you wanna bring up the rear? Get a 1" AAL and 2" shackle for 8" with the Fabtech block or get some Deavers or Atlas Lift Springs for the full 8"
Shackle:

What he said^. Shackle or aal are your only options if you wanna keep the block. If you don't mind ditching it and have some spare cash then lift leafs maybe a better option.

And just to warn you it's bulldogged now, but you just lifted it too, the front will sag some more over time. And you'll end up with rake again if you go 9/8.

Well you're best bet would be a 2.5" spacer and Doetsch UCA's. Then for the back an AAL and maybe a inch or two bigger block. Also don't forget about a body lift.

yea 2.5 is good. and those control arms are a real nice for that amount of spacer. ur spring will be stiff, im running the 2'' spacer its nice and stiff if you like springs stiff.

Now on to what i have to say not like anyone cares what i have to say i dont even know why i bother even saying it but I would like to try and help op out as i went through this very thing with my fabtech 7.5. What i did op not like you care or anyone cares what i did or do. But i put a 2'' coil spacer in front...2'' lift shackle along with a 2'' add a leaf with the 5'' block in back. and it brought me right where i needed to be. My back is just 3/4 lower than the front wich is perfect for me. Or you could not do any coil spacer and do bigger block aal or lift shackle. The 2'' shackle gave me just about an inch so u may want to add something with it

Or you could do as buxton mentioned and go bigger block i think procomp makes a 6'' block. You could do that instead of the shackle or both with a bit bigger coil spacer. Just to give you some ideas.

First, why would you start with that? It seems like you had some good information after that relevant to the thread.

Second, if I am understanding correctly, you lifted the front 2 more inches and the back 4" so you were sitting at 9.5"/9" which is close to factory rake so I don't see how the back is 3/4" lower. And he wants the back level/higher than the front so if you could throw up a picture so he could look and see how it sits that'd be a good comparison for him to see

Its never going to be exact to the t the hight it says it is with a add a leaf or shackle even coil spacer. 3/4 lower in the back is basically level. As pizza said your coil springs will settle after a while.

Well now I'm looking towards getting a 2" spacer up front and that will put me at 9.5" and I don't won't the back to be higher than the front just level and if anything, I wouldnt mind if the back was like an inch shorter than the front. I think I'm going to go with a 2" add a leaf and 2" shackle to raise the rear end up.

lltoolj- can you post some pics of your truck so I can see what To look forward to, thanks.
Buxton- I dont think I will be adding a body lift anytime soon because then I would have to get some 37's whick I can not afford right now but I wish I could.

Im running 36'' tires with my set up and it looks fine. Altho 40's would be sweet i got a good deal on the 36 inch super swampers. So your 35's would be sweet with a bl on top of the fabby. Even just for now till you get 37's or 40's.

Ill take some pics so you have an idea of what its going to look like.
