What should i do now???

Ok so i have an 07 reg cab 2wd xl leveled out at the moment with Fabtech's 2.5" dirtlogic bolt on coil/shock combo in the front and fox 2.5" piggyback with 10" travel for the rear. Right now im clearing my 33" toyo m/t's just fine but i recently came up on some 35's so im going to need more height to clear them. I dont mind selling the front shocks and going with an entirely different setup either. What would you guys suggest if this was your truck and you had to do it all over again? thanks in advance..

Your options are throw a body lift on top of what you have, or get a 6" suspension lift. Your gonna need 6" to clear 35's properly. If it was my truck I would have done full suspension from the start, however I know anything with fabtech/dirt logic name on it isn't cheap and neither are those fox piggybacks. So if you can sell them off I'd get a suspension lift but if you can't, body lift maybe a cheaper way to go because of the money you already have tied up in it.

Yeah I'm still not to sure on if the body lift is going to give you the proper height, but it should. A full suspension lift would be better, but I'm sure you've got a ton of money invested into your current suspension set-up.

Dang, its a tough decision.. i actually got a killer deal on the fabtech dirtlogics and that's why i just went ahead and paid the 600 for the piggybacks. i wouldnt mind selling my current setup but it just might be hard lining up a seller at the same time i have a new setup to put on my truck (because i dont have the stock stuff to put back on in the meantime and it's my daily driver..) and cash availability always plays a key role.. ill probably throw an ad on craigslist or here and just see what i can get for them then take it from there. i still have some descent tread on my 33's so that should buy me some time to figure this out. thanks for the input fellas.

that's for the 97-03's. unfortunately no spindle lifts for the 04+ 2wd's.

yeah i was thinking about that at first but haven't heard many good things about body lifts and the PA kit costs over 500 for my 07, and the shops around here probably charge an arm and a leg to put it on.. does anyone know if the spindles will go on my truck without interfering with the shocks im currently running? i also have a/m camburg uca's with the 1.24" bj

You can't run spindles, they're 97-03 2wd only. Read up two posts. Your options are body lift or suspension, there's nothing else.

Gotcha.. well thanks for the help. Probably end up going with the BL until I save up funds to do the full suspension somewhere down the road.

As long as you have someone else to confirm that with the body lift you can clear, i'd just go that route. You already have a pretty killer suspension setup and I wouldn't change it up right now just for the fact of running a larger tire. You should be able to clear them, but I don't want to tell you it will and then you have trouble fitting them. maybe someone with a similar setup will chime in.

for sure. im just going to take it into polyperformance on monday and see what they think i should do. i was talking to another guy i know that build prerunner though and he said there are kits that use a spacer to push down the coilover and uses a taller knuckle for the lift, that way i can keep the shocks i have right now and run them with the lift. He said he's seen other guys do it before and it worked out pretty well for them. im not sure how valid that is but he's built a descent amount of trucks so i figure he knows better than i do.. you guys have any input on that?
