lowering my 07 fx2

like the title says, I am lowering my fx2. Im planning on putting 2/4 Eibach kit on it. the rear is shackled but not low enough to fill in those wheel walls. so will the 2/4 make it level and fill it in? i done some research and heard the 3/5 drop will rub so i dont want to take my chances with that.

how it sits now

thanks

What size tires are you running? I lowered a reg cab last summer 3/5 with 275/30R24 and they didn't run and he even threw on a set of different 24s with a 305/35 and they barely rubbed and only when turning and if you hit a bump at the same time.

I dont think you would have an issue going to a 3/5 drop on your truck at all it will fill the gap nicely as well. Did a quick tire calculation and your tire is like .25" taller then a factory 20 inch tire.

Most of the lowered guys hang out in the street scene over suspension it seems just so you know

I didn't know that. Can a mod move this thread? Also the 3/5, will it sit even and do you have to do anything to the frame?

Hmm 3/5 sits to low for me. I'll probably just get 2/4 to have that extra clearance.

Yes, but not sure how the Eibach kit deals with it.

if your worried about being too low, then go with 2/4. Its easier to go lower than to go back up. 2/4 with 22s is a really nice setup. 3/5 wouldnt need a frame notch, but 4/6 would.

2/4 is perfect for me. Cause Oklahomas roads are nasty. There's bumps every were.
