spindle nut torque?

spindle nut torque?

does anyone know what the torque sequence and specs are for the spindle nuts on an 92 f150 4x4

on my 2004 2wd it was like 350 lb ft. Yours should be pretty close if not the same.

are you talking about behind the little dustcover. My procomp kit said like 20 ft/lbs. It is not very much, I will look at my sheets when I get home and double check. It does not hold any weight, only keeps the CV shaft in place, the hub holds all of the weight...

I did not look at the year, I am not sure about a 92....

Are you taking about the spindle nut (one per wheel,) or the wheel studs (6 per wheel.)

Thanks guys, got it. torque inner spindle nut to 50 ft-lb while turning wheel, back off 90 deg. install locking index washer. then torque outer spindle nut to 150 ft-lb.
