I got a 1999 v6 f150 with 35 inch tires. I have 3 inch fabtech lift spindles and the fabtech upper control arm and lift spring. so its a 6 inch lift and on the back theres like 2 inch blocks.

problem is it rides too rough. when i put the lift springs and uca on it maxxed out my shocks so i deff need shocks.

but its pretty stiff i think the springs dont have enough flex. and its pretty much max'd out the uca is hitting the top of the stock bumpstop.
bottom line i dont like the lift springs so i was thinking swap in the stock springs

so what i need to know is if i can run 35s ok with a fabtech 3 inch lift spindle
or should i get a 1 inch spacer with stock springs or what.

and for the back end i was thinking take the blocks out or get 1 inch blcoks. if i can still fit 35s. ive had heavy *** loads and pretty much had those tires tucked and it was fine driving so that made me think i dont need the blocks??

any advice would be nice

 

No you need 6" to clear 35's. I think most of your problems are stemming from the lack of changing your shocks out for the proper lifted ones. As for your control arm issue, I couldn't tell you unless you posted a pic for reference to see what I'm looking at.

 

Your not gonna clear 35's without a minimum of 6". As for the rear I'm suprised your not bumping out inside the fenderwell with only a 2" block. Post pics of the front, it'll definitely help and you definitely need new shocks.

 

I bet that thing has a hellacious cali-lean with just 2" blocks!

 

I wouldn't doubt it haha, I'm still really surprised those tires aren't bumping out in the rear. And the headlights are able to be angled low enough with that kinda lean haha

 

He's got to be running factory wheels. If not those fenders would be chewed to crap!

 

I'd try new shocks first. If that doesn't work you may be able to replace your Fabtech coilsprings with a pair of OEM coilsprings and a 2 inch Daystar spacer. You would loose about an inch of lift but the ride should be softer because I'm pretty sure the OEM springrate is less than the Fabtech's.

 

5" isn't gonna clear the inner fender metal in the front with 35's though, it'll bump and rub over everything. Your best bet is to get the right length shocks first, if that doesn't work try a different brand of 3" lift springs for it with a softer spring rate.
