Need Lift Info

Hello all, great site great people. Hope I am not asking a question that hasnt been asked previously so here it goes.
I have a 06 F150 with a six inch pro-comp lift, I wish I had waited for the 8'' lifts to come out. Ok I want to go higher to put 37's on my truck so what is my best option: 1. go with coilovers in the front to replace the spacers and crank them up an extra 2" inches. 2. add a body lift to my truck. 3. get a new 8" lift and remove my old lift. 4. Install some bushwacker fender flares and trim the wheel well to fit the tires in the front. Thanks in advance for any input, and I would hope to go with the most budget friendly option ..

Thanks for the quick response FX4 life, but what about the rear ? how do you even the truck out from the height difference in the front?

rear block, AAL, shackle lift, custom leaf pack.

you can also do adjustable bilstein in the front to get 2" of lift instead of a coil over if you want to save money.

Wow those bilsteins are only 160 bucks thankx 06yz, but could it really be that simple just to mount those shocks and dial them up an extra 2 inches? then add 2 more inches to even out the rear?

Honestly, youre gonna want bigger right after this one. Youre already wanting bigger. Id put bilsteins on, dial em in. AAL in the rear. And put on a 2 inch body. Will put you about 10 in front and 9 in back total. Or go a 3 inch body and itll be 11 in front 10 in back roughly. Basically anything besides an all new lift would be best. Or if you plan on getting HUGE. break down and buy the new 8 inch lift and add everything i just said.

yep that simpe, it replaces your stock one. fx4 for life 79 had them on his old f150 to get 8" w/ a 6" pro comp. to do the rear just decide on any of those choices i told you. i'd recommend not stacking blocks, if you are already buying a new block you might as well buy one big one. your rear shocks should work, but possibility they won't. let fx4 for life chime back in since he was running the set up you are wanting.

and for a body lift, i don't think a 2" even exist for these trucks, just go 3" if you decide you want to go higher later.

Yeah bilsteins worked great and for the rear id do like a 6" block with 2" add a leaf or new springs. I've got pics of this set up on my old 05 in my albums

Go with a body lift and then if it still isn't high enough for you then add the coilovers.
