RCX Lift kits

I was wondering what everyone thought of the RCX 4-5" kits. I am thinking of getting this kit for my 1999 4x4. I am not to worried about going super high as I don't offroad much just wanted something for a little bit more clearance and meaner stance. Thanks for everyones input ahead of time.

Or how about the Superlift 4-5" kit. Found a kit on 4wheelonline.com for only 390.00. Is this a good kit to get or should I stay away from it?

I'm running a RCX kit on my truck and i haven't had any trouble out of it. I have done alot of RCX lifts for my customers because the price is right. It is a pretty decent lift.

search forums about them. some power stroke guys have had bad luck with them. never heard a complaint for their 1/2 ton lifts though.

also, few members have been screwed by 4wheel online here fyi. MAKE SURE all the Part numbers are correct, even if they say it comes with something and it doesn't you are at fault 100% in their eyes.

EDIT: thats just a traction bar kit.....

Those aren't just traction bar kits, if you re-read it the traction bar is there as a selectable/recommended option.

Personally I am going with the rcx when I get around to doing my lift. The quality is good on them for our 1/2 tons. I have talked to a couple guys with them and none of them have had any problems.

then why when i clicked add to cart is came up with like 2500 bucks? the $350 he was referring to is just a traction bar. if you want the lift kit it's 2500 bucks.

Nevermind sorry abour that I didn't see where he had posted a price of one. I just thought you had missed the see sale price in cart option cause I did the first time I read through it.

Thanks for all the replies, I noticed that is was not the lift after I posted it. I am now debating between the RCX lift if I go just a normal lift or I just found out Dixon Bros has a 4x4 Long travel kit. Its like 3500 though.

Yea I have looked into that as well. But I don't think that I will use the dixon bros. to it's full potential. haha. Plus I don't have that kind of cash to be dumping on the front end of my truck right now.

Ya but it would be so bad a** though. I will prob. just end up getting the 4-5" RCX lift as I barely offroad so I mainly need it for when I go hunting. Still might get the pre-runner bumper though.

THe prerunner bumper is worth it I love it haha. And also its just 3500 for the base dixon bros 4x4 kit, then you gotta add in shocks, bumpstops, and the fabrication to mount the shock hoops too it gets really pricy really quick

Ya that's why I think I'll stick with the RCX lift. Then I can add all the other cool stuff I want like a in car computer.

Yea long travel is awesome but if you don't have anywhere to really use it to its full potential your better off getting the rcx lift and using the rest of the money you would have spent on long travel to add your own personal touches to your truck.
