sweet set up, but why didn't you just buy a turn key buggy to play with? most seem to be around 50k for a pretty capable rig and will do a ton more than the 150 will do.

they definitely can get way up there depending on what all you add, alot of bad *** buggies for sell right now since KOH just ended.

32k to SAS is outrageous. i know you're using a lot of good parts on the build, but that's a lot of change for a truck that will do everything decently but nothing excellently.

looking forward to see it done either way. get it on the RTI ramp when its done

I agree the price is a little high, yet that is a ton of time to mock everything up and time = money as we all know. Once it is done will be a slick truck!

Leo in this economy a once $100K rail can be picked up for $50-60K now.

Nope, not yet, I'll have to go and remove the spare tires off the truck which I sold along with the lift and suspension and I'll take a pic of what the truck looks like with no legs. The truck, as it sits now, has no tires, no suspension and no axles.

The dynatrac axles are going to take between 4-6 week to build, we are now running into the 3rd week. I should have pics of the new axles in maybe 3 weeks. Thanks for asking and I'll keep you all posted soon as I get some updates.

For that much money, I would have bought all the tools and built everything myself....

Well there are those of us who are not as talented as you are but have just enough dough to seek to services of those who are talented in said area.

If everybody were like you, who has the time and knowledge to do everything, there wouldn't be any businesses operating at all.

In this tough economy, I'm lucky enough I have a few pennies to keep at least a couple of talented people off unemployment for a few days, wish I had more.

Most of the skills they are using isn't "talent" it's just experience. Experience that if you were to read and learn from others, and try yourself over time would gain also...

I'm not talented at all, you don't see all the screw ups I do, but in the long run I still save money, have more tools, and have the knowledge to fix something on my own instead of $95 an hour....

Perfect example is taking off the front suspension/cutting out brackets... ANYONE can do that... If you can turn a door **** you can do that and save nearly $3k(if I remember what I read)...

Give yourself more credit on your ability's.

And as far as time.. I don't have any, that's why my F-250 has been sitting in my shop with the top half of the engine apart for nearly 1.5 months now... Either way I'm fixing it for $200 instead of the $2300 ford quoted me. Ofcourse the fact I have other vehicles to drive doesn't give me much motivation to fix it.
