Who did the leveling kit comparison?

I know that I saw a thread on here the other day but I can't find it now. :o

Someone did a comparison between several of them and knew which one gave the greatest lift per size, etc.

Can someone point me to that thread or the gentleman that created it?

That helps. Thank you, sir.

So the HBS 2 1/2" and the AS 2" are equivalent? Interesting.

I notice that HBS has pulled their 2" billet spacer off of their website today after emailing them yesterday and confirming that the 09-11 spacers will also fit the 04-08 trucks.

Your welcome, what size are you thinking about going with? Having a 05, I would go with the AS 2.5" w/ powder coat option.

I am probably going to go with the 2". I want to clear 33's and still have a little bit of rake so that when I hook my boat to the back of it, it doesn't squat.

Is there that much difference betweent the powdercoat and the poly finish? We don't normally get a lot of salt around here, although this year has been an exception.

Between the painted and powder coated versions is only $10. The powder coat is a more durable finish in general. We rarely get snow, and when we do there is never salt, but piece of mind that I don't have to worry about rust regardless is worth it to me. If nothing else your still susceptible to dirt/sand/water etc getting in there and acting as an abrasive.
