2" AS wont fit with 6" Pro comp! HELP!

I Have a 6'' pro comp stage I and Tried installing a 2" Autospring spacer tonight... but the spacer turned the strut around completely 180 degrees backwards. That would be fine if i was mounting it on just the stock strut, but the 6" pro comp spacer is angled and wont work backwards. If you are familiar with the strut assembly you will know that the bolts only line up one way.. so I just couldnt figure out how anybody could get it to work. Any body put one on themselves on top of a pro comp spacer? please help.

I actually just looked at the picture of the spacer that Autospring had up. The one in the picture would work... but thats not the one i got. On the one in the picture the holes on the bottom of the spacer line up right up under the bolts that are welded on. On mine the holes are completely backwards from the bolts... anybody follow what im saying?

yeah in the directions it says the strut is rotated for the 1.5 and 2in. kits. i got the 2.5in. kit and i can't really remember but i don't think my strut was turned. i have the standard fabtech shocks though.

So you want to stack a 2" spacer on top of the 6" pro comp spacer? Not a good idea.

I know i know ive heard it all before... but plenty of people have done it with no problems. And i was only going to do it until i can afford dirt logics. But My question is why does the spacer turn the strut around and how have so many people on this website put this spacer on when it turns the strut around. Or did the one they put on not turn it around. Thats the only way I see it happening

ANY spacer kit, wether it be AS or HBS, must be installed between the factory strut and stage 1 lift spacer in order to work properly.

should be:

procomp spacer
AS spacer
factory strut

yes (~1.5 degrees), but all AS products have opposite angles to counteract it

Do you have a full length fabtech strut or a spacer?

I can't understand why it's not working. I had the 2.5" AS on mine. Worked great. You won't have any issues with the stacked spacer as long as you're not off roading the truck hard.
