How Do I Lift My 2WD F150?
I just bought a 2006 2WD F150 V8. I want to raise it but I don't want to spend $1500 doing it. My game plan now is doing a leveling kit and 33's or 35's if they will fit. Ive heard about strut lifts and blocks and what not but Im not sure how i can combine that with the leveling kit. Any suggestions?

check out https://www.f150online.com/forums/su...n-04-08-a.html that should give ya some ideas...maybe I'm confused but aren't strut blocks = leveling kit? A leveling kit is just a spacer that sits on top of your struts...then you'd do a AAL to level out the rear

you can mix it up, run struts with a AAL or blocks with a leveling kit. There's plenty of options available depending on your budget and mechanical skills (if you're doing the work yourself)

Right, the Performance Accessories body lifts are a good value. However, everyone says they are a pain to install on the 04-08 trucks, so shops charge a lot for labor. If you can install it yourselft, it's a good value. If you have to pay for installation, it's not much less total cost than a 6 inch Pro Comp Stage 1 lift.

When I first got my truck I said the same thing as you.. I didnt want to spend much $$. So I started with a level and 33's then but a 4" skyjacker on 35's the got a 6" Skyjacker then put a Body Lift and then put a leveling kit. Moral of the story is, if you start lifting your truck its never going to end so throw down some money now and go with a 6", it might seem expensive but your going to save your self in the long haul..
