i would definetly listen to everyone and invest in some penetrating oil, the sooner you start spraying the bolts down the easier they will be to get off...and +1 on the undercarrage wash...i had a bunch of dirt falling on me as i was taking the running boards and the rear bumper off. You can never have to many friends help either, its nice to have other sets of eyes to help you when you come across a snag (cause you will). If you have access to a 4 point lift it makes the job so much easier then doing it with a jack. Take your time read the directions and it will come out real nice and you will save some loot too. GOOD LUCK!!!

The GM towhooks clean up the look of the front end. Like everyone else said, spray all the bolts with penetrating oil and try to get all your tools together before you start so you can stay pretty organized. Most important thing though, take your time! If you have to, take all 3 days and make sure everything is done right.

The OEM towhooks will hang down 3 inches lower with a body lift and look a little odd.

The 3 body lifts I've done took an average of 14 hours not including lunch breaks. I used an impact on all of my bolts. Break it loose with breaker bar the use the impact.

Oh and performance accessories changed the 2000 f150 design alittle. You have to drill out the front cab bushings.

i doubt it'll take you 30 hours. I worked by myself and did it in around 20, and that was with breaks and taking my time. And I got tied up on the radiator for a little while, I was determined I wasn't gonna take that thing out just for the stupid fan shroud

I wouldn't say an entire week, but a few days atleast. When it comes time to do the bed don't be surprised if you have to cut out a few of the bolts, some of them just won't budge no matter how much you soak them. I had to cut out one but I know others have had to cut/grind out all of them. Oh and make sure you have a few sharp 1/2" drill bits, the frame is pretty stout.
