Well, on a more positive note...I got the "order processed" email from TGC today and according to them they will have your product to your door within 10 days of the order being processed. Let's see what happens I guess? I'll try calling them again later, I already tried twice today and was just on hold for 15 minutes before I got an answering machine telling me to leave a message. Maybe they somehow know its me calling?

That email means nothing I got it 2 weeks ago. I also called today and got the vmail too and no replies to my email to the general manager or via ebay. I'd be tempted to tell them to refund my money and go ef themselves if I could ever get ahold of them

So I finally got a call from TGC this morning and it's not good news. The guy said that they don't have any in stock and the 2 companies they buy from when they run out don't have any either. He had to go directly to Rize and they are saying they won't have any produced for 2 MONTHS! He apologized and said they are taking all the auctions off ebay and making a note on their website. He offered to refund my money or come up with some sort of compensation for me waiting for it. I'm waiting for a call back about what he can offer me.

Well that's what I figured...that is not good news at all...could you just let me know what the "compensation" is when they call you back? I'd like to know if it's going to be worth the wait, otherwise I'll just put the money into my shiny new convertible mustang gt...that's quite upsetting though. I kinda feel like going to TN and punching some people in the throat for lying to everybody though.

Will do, I know how you feel about wanting to punch people in the throat. I'm at the point of just pulling the plug on lifting my truck again and just spending the $11k on something else like a Harley or a fun car or a 56 F1. Depends on what they offer me I guess and what I find

I already talked to my wife and we're just going to call it quits, that's just too much extra stress to deal with. I'm going to campaign once again for putting it towards another motorcycle because it would be nice to have something more practical than the R1 I picked up recently that was tuned to be a AMA race bike...or I could just get my mustang up to 600 or so HP....let's see what I can get away with without upsetting my wife too badly haha. A note to anybody reading this forum, CALL dealers and MAKE SURE items are all IN STOCK BEFORE YOU PAY THEM!! They will probably still lie to you like they did to me though. tlt008 - I'd say go with the Harley, personally I would go with a v-rod

I'm kinda leaning more towards a fun car but I'm not sure. If I go Harley it will be a Street Glide or a Rocker. Might just go custom though. I've had a ZX-6 and a ZX-10 and did some stupid things so I want to stay away from fast bikes. Riding a bike in the D.C. metro area is a very dangerous thing. I just did the math too and I'd be saving $10k by not doing this plus gaining another $3k from other truck stuff I have for sale. $13k.... what to spend it on....hmmmm

Got the call back and was told they couldn't offer me any type of compensation after all. I'm in the middle of canceling my order and thinking of ways to spend that money. Might go back to turboing my truck to the tune of 12-15psi and 500rwhp/rwtq.

They did tell me they could give me a killer deal on the 12" Rize instead and that they had 3 of them sitting there

Have you talked to TGC about the 12" kit they have? Jody from TGC just called saying that they made a mistake and they thought the 12" kit they have was an 8" kit so they offered it to me at the same price I was paying for the front kit+all components needed for the entire set-up both front and rear ($3000) plus like another $830 for the 11" rear springs. So that's talking just under $4K for the complete 12" Rize kit. Then of course you'd be needing driveshaft modification and about $2700 for 37" tires/20" wheels (if you got nitto mud grapps on XD Rockstar's) My wife told me the extra $800 is a no-go for her so I was just wondering if you heard about it? If you're interested give Jody a call at extension 394 and tell him that Micah told you to call about the kit.

I told Jim I wasn't even interested in the 12". $3000 for the 12" Rize front is not a huge deal considering a couple members just got the same thing for $2500 shipped. Both of them bought from Leveling Pro's and one of them has confirmed that their card was actually charged by TGC for it. That means that TGC is trying to pull a fast one on you.

Yah that was me with my card. Part of my order was through paypal and the rest on TGC. I got mine shipped to the door in 3 days for 2800.

$2800 it was...sorry.....either way, you would think that since they screwed up that they would give you the best deal they could and not try to make a few extra bucks.

Yeah I would be pissed off myself. Eff One Fifty I know he got his for 2500 shipped but they charged me 2800 and I was still a little upset about that but compared to just buying it anywhere else. I tried talking them down but nothing
