finally got it finished

ok so in finally sent the truck in to have the lift installed
after alot of time of searching i think i got exactly what i was looking for i got the 6 inch superlift, icon front coilovers made for the 6 inch superlift, no blocks in the back goin with all add a leafs to lift the real installers says it will be 5 to 7 more leafs to lift it
will have photos as soon as i get the truck back
now just have to figure out how big of a tires i can go with
what do yall think will fit under the truck have 33's on 18's now want to go as big as possible with out rubbing to much

where in NJ did you get the install done ? and also the install price if you dont mind. $900 seems to be the going rate up here in Northern NJ

900? damn i was quoted 450 Canadian here at 2 places (plus alignment of course, which was 50). I ended up doing it at a friends shop and gave him 300 and a case of bud light

yeah going labor rate is about $80 an hour by me

they quoted me 85 an hour and 7 hours so 595 and the leafed rear hes chargin me 350 it would be 595 if i just blocked it but this is supposedily this alot better for the truck interested to see how it will ride with the rear like this so
i think 35 is the biggest i can go

$595 is alot better than what i ve been told , where in NJ are you ?

im right on the begining of the jersey shore the place i went is in belmar monmouth county

so your doing a bunch of AAL's? thats gonna be a rough ride. why not get whole new set of leaf springs?

My thoughts exactly!

How much is the axtra AAL portion going to run you? It can't be cheap and you're going to be paying to do something half-assed and you won't be happy I wouldn't think. Price out a new leaf pack set before you spend that money bro. Just from friendly advice.

yea i spoke to the guys yesterday and they are going to remake the leaf springs custom for the truck which should be good i hope
its i wanted from the beginning but its alittle more cash now im thinkin it will worth every penny
i have skyjacker nitro shocks 6 inch lift for the rear which should help theride even more

yea dude im right by monmouth i live a mile off next to exit 114 on the parkway im around monmouth all the time
