newb to lift kits here

I have a 2006 F-150 Screw. I am going to replace the shocks here soon and wanted to lift it at the same time. however, I don't want anything too extreme, because I am going to be running stock wheels/tires till the end of this year when i get a new set. Any ideas on what shocks I should go with and what kinda lift application I should use? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Get you a set of Bilstein 5100 series, you can level your truck with those and get a shock upgrade in the process. Here is a link http://www.shockwarehouse.com/site/p...-Leveling-Unit.

If you go with a lift kit in the future you can still use them, so no useless purchase.

Or get a 6 inch Fabtech lift. Just depends on how high you want to go.

I'd be more than happy to answer any shock questions you may have.

Installed a set of 5100's just last week on my 07 XLT Scab. Got them from shockwarehouse. Could not be happier.

Around 2" is all your are going to get...maybe a hair more. That will level you out, if you want rake back add a 3" block or add a leaf. You do have a 4x4 right?

why not just get a rancho lift kit? get a true lift w/ new shocks and it will allow you stock wheels.
