Found this write up/ comparison of the Duplicolor vs. G2...

It's just one man's opinion, but it does highlight some significant differences between the two.

Almost the same stuff I got, minus the Gloss finish. But for $24 I can live with it, and I've got enough paint left over for years of touch ups.

Looks like a good kit though, more colour choices, I think that green would have looked better with my truck.

I've done mine with Duplicolor Red about 2 yr's ago. After some time, around 6-8 months, they begin chipping in spots. After recleaning with brake cleaner and a light sanding I recoated them with the same Duplicolor (what was left from the first time). 6-8 months later, samething.
Someone I was talking to about it said that thay had used Engine paint and that it was holding up well. Think I may try it next time (thats when I get up off may butt and go do something outher then think about it). First I've got to install the elec. fans and the underdrive pulleys and clean the thing up and, well you know all the stuff I can put off cause its to hot or raining or somthing like that.
