Up or Down??

Alright guys, here are a couple of mine. I was wondering, and I guess this will all just depend on personal taste but do yall think I should work for a lift or a drop? I already think that the majority of yall will say lift but just wonderin if there are any people that think it would look better closer to the ground.

Another issue brought to my attention was that it is a 4X4. I guess it would be goofy for a 4WD low rider but w/e. Comment please.

Usually 4WD up
2WD down, but who says that is correct and it all depends on how you use the truck? Drop that sucka

I'd go up, but personally with the side step, I think it'd look awkward lowered.

I was in the same boat as you. I had the drop kit all picked out... and then my girlfriend asked me why i was going to castrate my rig.

and... make sure you're careful on those dirt roads, watch for potholes, etc etc.

Truth is... we have 5500 pound monsters, and I'm now looking into lift kits.

If you want to be low and go fast... just buy a mustang.

Haha, those are some excellent points. Although with the nerf bars off I have seen flareside lightnings that look good lowered. But definitely with the 4WD I'll probably maintain the manhood of the truck and raise it. I suppose if I ever ofund a golden egg laying goose or something where I would be able to afford adding superchargers, boosts, exhausts, etc I would just buy a lightning. Thanks for the comments and any more points and opinions bring em!

go up. get a 2wd if you really want to lower something. lowering a 4x4 truck is like taking your dog to get neutered. its just not right!

Lightnings are flaresides. They look just fine lowered. Then again they have different wheels and trim.

Yeah, I was amazed at the whole "flaresides don't look good lowered" thing. The lightnings look fine and personally I think they look better than the styleside. lol OUR TAILLIGHTS ARE COOLER!!! Anyway "f150 rider" has a truck very close to mine with a 6" kit and 3" body lift and that thing looks very powerful but a bit obnoxious. I think I would not go that high. And even though I'm whiter than the snow in Northern Canada I think I'm part Mexican somewhere. I'm liking the lowered trucks with the chrome and big rims. But I will probably save the lowriding for a different vehicle.

thanks for the "obnoxious" comment lol! you could run a 6" Fabtech suspension lift and 35`s or just a 3" body lift and 35`s or 33`s but 35`s look better, it would look great either way
