has anyone flipped there stock leaf?

has anyone ever put there bottom overload spring on top of leafs upside down? i know people used to do this to their s-10's when i had a mini truck.. this flattens out the leafs for a drop... thanx

I'm not aware of this practice (and I owned an s10).

Another thing to consider is that the s10 axle sits on top of the leaf springs, the F150 axle rides below the leaf springs.
