I'm looking to do the same for my 05 screw fx4. i was thinking 2.5" but not sure...also I will be putting 33's on and I'm positive they'll fit as I've seen alot of pictures on here with people riding on 35's.

Most members say a 2.5 inch kit will level a 4x4 while a 2 inch kit wil level a 4x2.
I'm sure every truck is a little different so you may need to just measure your truck to see how much lift you need up front to level it.

Easiest way to find out what size leveling kit is to walk out to your truck and measure the distance between the wheel well and your tire. Subtract the front tires by the back and thats how big of a leveling kit you will need to make it sit level.

I am going to buying a 2.5" leveling kit from Autospring today for my 2005 supercrew 4x2. You can buy them directly from Autospring via Ebay with free shipping.

I just put on a 2.5" from Auto Spring on Friday. The 305/65 R18 BFG AT's will be here and mounted(hopefully) Wendsday.

Thank You, I've been here awhile (lurking) reading up on everything I could to make the choices I've made for these first Mod's. I was going to wait until everything was finished to post pics, but will try to post what I have later.

From what I've seen, the 2.5" kist raises the front a tad higher than the back on a 4x4. Then you end up needing blocks or add a leafs to level it out again.

I have Bilstein leveling shocks/struts enroute. I'll be installing them at the 2 inch setting, which will hopefully be perfect.

I have a set of FX4 shocks in the garage now. I know some 2wd trucks have installed FX4 shocks and it gives them a couple inches in the front, due to the way the coil sits on them. Might be worth researching that too.
Otherwise, you can get bilstein 5100's adjustable to stock height, +1" or +2".
Or of course the autospring.
When you measure your truck, keep in mind that the front wheel well is larger and higher. Most people want the wheel wells level, and if you measure the lines on the body, the rear is still about an inch higher that way. I prefer a little forward rake still so I'll probably add a 1" add-a-leaf with my leveling shocks.

here is my 06 Screw XLT... I went with the Bilstein kit with matched rear shocks! Couldn't be happier with this set up!

This is with 35" tires! There is minor rubbing at full wheel lock!

If you do NOT ever plan to go higher than just leveling... I recommend you get 33's! I did 35's because I intend to get a full 6" suspension some time in the near future!

Hope this helps

Cheers

Nemi

My 2004 4x4 took a 2in lift to level it, Some take 2.5 to level. I took the floor jack out and jacked it up in the garage to see what lift I needed.
