negative camber??

i dont know if thats right or what but i took it to a body shop today and i overheard them say that..but they said i need a new upper control arm and a new knuckle cause they go together?? and i took it to another place and they said that their 2 different parts, not toghher..??and i wouldnt need to replace it..

my question is..with "negative camber" does the knuckle or the upper control arm need to be replaced..they priced the knuckle at 200.00 and the upper control arm at 80.00..plus labor..so im trying to save some cash if the knuckle isnt that important..thanks..

i dont understand why you would need new control arms and a knuckle? camber bolts can correct that. what is done to the front of ur truck? leveled?

um, take a picture of the upper control arm, i couldnt imagine you could drive the truck if the knuckle and upper control arm were bad.

they are two different parts and do not need to be purchased together.
if you have negative camber it can be corected my cambolts.

hahaha thanks for the clarification, i was shaking my head on that one, i probably wouldnt drive that thing at all if it had bad suspension components. pics will def clarify and some of the guys on here really know there suspension stuff so i am sure one of them will point you in the right direction.

3 inch body lift im guessing..

leveling kit?? dont know what size..2.0? who knows if you know thanks aloooot.. just want to know if its a 2.0 or less cause theres no point of getting a 2.5 if it still isnt level with whatever size that is..also have longer ubolts, meaning what? sorry for all the dumbass questions but ive been trying to get this right for almost 4 months..no shops know nada..

and this (driver side..wrecked)arm is closer by like half an inch to the tire than the other side

Looks like you have one of those cheap department store coilspring spacers. Actually it looks like you have two. They are the things wedged in between the coils of your spring in the pics. I can't tell if you have a proper coilspring spacer at the top, but it appears you may.

ok so i remove those..and if they already did get ruined which i might think they did, cause it rides rough when i hit bumps..dont know if that has anything to do with it..what kinda of coils do i get? and what kind of price range do these things cost? and i can add the bilsteins with the new coils, correct?

soo i think i found out the problem..i just came back from the body shop and they showed me a broken "STEERING RACK AND PINION" and they said my front lower balljoints are shot on both sides..they also said when my wife got hit in the accident that the lower control arm slide inward causing the "negative camber" but they said that the negative camber is going to stay like that forever..thats where it gets me thinking..they said with all the new ball joints and new rack and pinion, its going to stay the same but just with new parts? Anways they also said the tire was negative .50 or half an inch.. and cant be fixed..so who knows.
