vibration since lift
Also for those of you running 2 spacers on the 6" lift. Go get your springs re-arched and have a leaf professionally installed. It will look like this. ( Mine sits 3/4" higher in the rear - Also I'm running the stock tires for the winter)
Did you check to feel if your yolk had play? It doesn't take long to wear out the slip yolk with the vibration of the shorter drive shaft. Mine has some play. I will likely have to get a new yolk. Should have put the spacer in right after I did the lift. Oh well.
I had the same issues when I lifted my truck. I had a machine shop lengthen my driveshaft 2 1/4" for $135.00, including balancing. I still had the vibration but not near as bad, after buying an electronic level I found my driveshaft/pinion angles were way out of wack. Shimming it solved all my vibration issues. I bought my shims from a suspension specialist, they were about 25 bucks.
