IF you could do it again??
i probably would have told the wife before i ordered it...... maybe it would have went over better !!!! but honestly though, i kinda think i would go with Fabtech instead of the RCD.... dont get me wrong, i love the RCD, but the Fabtech is cheaper, and gets great reviews.
Not much I would have changed considering I was on a budget, and my setup is the probably the most reliable method to lift this generation of F150s this high (short of a SAS).
If I had the cash to throw around and knowledge to go with it, I would have just gone straight to a SAS.

i would have started with a f250 instead of f150, stupid lift laws. i never got lifting a 4x2, bit if its just for looks, then why not save the $$$, whatever works for ya. i bet my screw gets locked into 4x4 100 times plus a year.

i would have gone with sum bigger tires lol. everyone always say once you have it you will only want to go bigger eventually. i love my truck though. its exactly how i wanted it to be and that is a good feeling to have.
yes 8" and 5" the dude that did it for me is a great machinist and has the best people working for him and he custom made my lift at 8" then he made me 5" body spacers and after we found long grade 8 bolts it was done never tried it off road and sold it a year ago
I would have waited to buy my new tires until AFTER I lifted my truck. I bought\mounted 33" BFG A\T's about a month prior to me lifting. I would have went with 35" BFG A\T's. Made a promise to myself I will wait till these 33's wear out before I go to 35's. As little as I drive the truck and as good of tires as they have been, it's gonna take a while. Other then that, I wouldn't change a thing, I love my truck the way it is.
I would have put the just the suspension lift on and ran 35s, but oh well if you dont try something you wont know if you like it or not, now dont get me wrong I like my truck just the way it is and it`s the coolest feeling ridin way up high
hehe...same here! Actually, as many as I have bought, you'd think I'd learn.
