i probably would have told the wife before i ordered it...... maybe it would have went over better !!!! but honestly though, i kinda think i would go with Fabtech instead of the RCD.... dont get me wrong, i love the RCD, but the Fabtech is cheaper, and gets great reviews.

Not much I would have changed considering I was on a budget, and my setup is the probably the most reliable method to lift this generation of F150s this high (short of a SAS).

If I had the cash to throw around and knowledge to go with it, I would have just gone straight to a SAS.

i would have started with a f250 instead of f150, stupid lift laws. i never got lifting a 4x2, bit if its just for looks, then why not save the $$$, whatever works for ya. i bet my screw gets locked into 4x4 100 times plus a year.

Probably would have left the 2.5" leveling kit installed, added an AAL and went a little larger on the tires. Also probably would have had a set of lockers installed when it was regeared.

I would have waited to buy my new tires until AFTER I lifted my truck. I bought\mounted 33" BFG A\T's about a month prior to me lifting. I would have went with 35" BFG A\T's. Made a promise to myself I will wait till these 33's wear out before I go to 35's. As little as I drive the truck and as good of tires as they have been, it's gonna take a while. Other then that, I wouldn't change a thing, I love my truck the way it is.
