Help with tire size!?

Need help with what tire size I need. I have a 2002 F150 crew cab 2WD and I am going to buy a 7.5" lift for it. What tires can I run if I have the 7.5" lift and a leveling kit? I want something bigger than 35" tires, but dont want to buy a body lift right now. Thanks

Personally, I'd stick with 35's. If you use an 8 inch wide wheel youmay be able to squeeze 37x12.50's on there but it will be really tight.

stick with 35's. remember your roughly 2" lower than a 4x4. so your getting 5.5" of lift over a 4x4 so a 35 should be perfect for that lift. what wheels are you going to be running? if you do decide you want 37's (will require re-gearing) you could get coil spacers and come close to running 37's w/out a problem with the right wheel

im sure you can just do the 7.5" lift and coil spring spacers and clear 36's fairly easily

Good luck with finding a kit that allows for OEM wheels. You do not want to order a kit, install the kit, mount the tires on your wheels; only to find out that it won't work.

he doesnt havce OEM wheels....

OP if you wanna TRY to run 36's then you will need the 7.5" Fabtech + Coil Spring spacers.

what size are those wheels? Id check out Super Swamper Iroks for some 36's i think they make 36's for 20's

The backspacing on the aftermarket wheels still need to be within the lift kit manufacturer's specs.

Most off road styled wheels for 97-03 F-150's have 4.5 inches of bs, so I'm sure those will be fine.
