Rize lift and requirements and other ?'s

I am currently doing alot of research on lifting my 07 harley 4wd. I had fabtech and AS on my 04 and im not going that route again. Anyway... I want a total of 10" on this truck to fit some 24's and 37 or 38's. I have been talking with texan aviator and he has been a big help but just trying to get other thoughts and opinions. I want the rize 8" but there is maybe 3 different kits for the rize 8" lift. Which one to go with?(cheapest would be nice) What are the extras needed for the rize kit? brake lines? Anyway for the other 2".... Bilstein's? With my other trucks the 2.5 AS with fabtech ripped my cv boots. Basically Im asking what all i need to lift this thing 10" using the rize kit and some shocks without ruinin the cv boots. 4" AAL for the rear should be good as texan aviator said. thanks for any help.

8" rize with bilsteins at 2 inches, FX4life is running that combo on his red monster some places sell those kits for twice the price, but the shocks are what kills ya on pricing

This is the cheapest kit. says it uses stock coilover assembly. so how do they get 8" then? Spacer? would this kit and the bilstein's be what i needed or do i need the "basic system" rize 8"?

Rize uses a spacer/extension on the bottom of the stock coilover to gain its lift. You want the 5100's swapped into your stock coilovers with the clip setup at 2" of lift, then the install would go as normal. With that size of tires be prepared or ready to regear not too long after install, also be aware you could need new driveshafts. Personally i dont know where you found 3 different rize 8" kits unless some place has some sort of packages. Just get you the lowest price you can on a rize 8" with braided brake lines forget the aal (it will only be a 2") and buy the bilsteins elsewhere cheaper. 4" aal can probably be found on summit pretty cheap. Im not much help there im running deaver leaf packs instead.

yeah prolly true bout the yoke. lol.... anyway, where would you recommend getting the driveshafts. I wanna do it right as i feel like i may have half assed my other f150. I want it to be right. Would those 2" bilsteins and 8" rize cause my cv boots to rip? that was my problem with my other truck. thanks for the good info.

Highly doubt they would cause it unless you just beat the hell out of it offroad, Even then a few guys beat theirs offroad and have had no problems... so i doubt it. I dont know of anywhere to get them off the internet, I got mine done locally at a driveline shop. You might check that out first then search online. Should cost less than 500 bucks

i have the 8" rize kit on my 2008 screw fx4. i currently have the coil extensions on it another and i am going to get some king coil-overs to rise it another 2 inches when i get the $. i will tell you that i have 37" toyo mts on 20x10 mazzi hulks and my tires rub on full crank and flex. i also did not get the aal in the back and i like the way it sits. ill put some pics up for you.
