Not true. I know plenty of guys who still manage to blow their money by gambling, whoring, drinking, smoking, et cetera. Even out in the field, you can blow your paycheck if another guy has a deck of cards. One of my buddies was in Afghanistan and he used to take bets from the other soldiers. Even there, there is room for a bookie.

My Bronco, I bought lifted. This is the best way cause the dealer (usually) won't charge you for the mods,or would have paid for them on the trade in, they just want to get it off the lot. Unfortunately this is like trying to capture lightning in a bottle because most used lifted trucks are abused.
My F-150, unfortunately I used credit cards. Possibly the worst way to do it, cause I'm still feeling the effects of these bad decisions.
Back when I had my Rangers, I worked for the state, and used to take Pension loans for my mods. This was also a great way to do it because the interest was only 4%

Good point. My new deck has an iPod connection cable. I still don't have an iPod.

Save up about 500 bucks and invest it in a Texas Hold em education. Well.........maybe its a little harder than that. But I pay for all of my mods with cash I win from playing poker online. I cant complain.

buying a used lift helps offset the cost tremendously, however, warranty is usually voided upon ownership changing.

I bought my truck by my self with no co-signer thats why i pay 25 % intrest rate, But i would rather have it like that then help from my parents. Found my rims and tires off craigslist for $600 bucks. And im using my christmas bonus for my suspension lift. Its all hard work and dont blow your cash on things you dont need, plus i dont have any kids and im still renting.

when you work 60-70 hr's a week and OT is double time making just over $1 a minute it's easy
i'll be buying new wheels and a lift next year
and don't use a credit card, i pay cash for everything i own, the only monthly payment i have is for my truck and the usual rent, food, gas, etc.

i think paying for aftermarkets on your truck should be paid in full, if you can't afford to have it w/ out paying interest you don't need it until you can pay in cash

Im in highschool and luckily got a great deal on my truck (from parents), then worked at belt corporation for 2 summers to pay for every other mod on my truck. Worked for family members, etc. But i live in a small town so everyone knows everyone and gettin small odd jobs comes pretty easy. If your lookin to work, theres a lot of it you just might actually have to "work".
