Degree Shims

Hi all, i have a 6" RCD lift with their 5" rear block that arent tapered..... so, should i add some degree shims to get me back to about a 3 degree angle? i dont have any vibrations, but i would like to get the driveshaft pushed back into the tranny where it used to be. will this help?

Thanks in advance !!!

with just a 6" you should be fine in the driveline area... Pro comp has shims if thats what you really want to do. if the yoke is pulled out though id look into lengthening the driveshaft if its necessary. Most people are using shims for "fine" adjustments of height in the rear not so much for degree shims.

ok, sounds good..... i think i will add them just to get the back up a "little bit" extra then. right now i have the AS 1.5" leveling kit with my lift, and also have 1.5" lift shackles in the rear plus the 5" block.... it looks to me as though the back could still use maybe 1/4". i can get it level if i pump the airbags, but i want to get it level without the bags for the softer ride.
