Already search & found they make them for 04-08 2wd models too.But I didn't ask you to search for me I ask a simple question from anyoneSo that means you didn't have to respond

Wasn't trying to say anything to you other then there is a lot of good info on bilsteins vs leveling kits and I myself have had both set-ups and know I've wrote numerous times on the differences between the two and when I could spend 5 mins searching and find the answers to the questions you're asking...I mean...seriously.... Anyway, I still answered your question regarding alignment and bilsteins vs. a leveling kit when I didn't have to, but did simply because I wanted to help you out. Once again, hope you didn't take it personal just making a simple suggestion

Had the new shocks installed today. The truck rides like it was new again. The rear end isn't walking all over the place when I hit bumps now.

Great man. I know what you mean about that, my truck rides much better with my rear shocks.

How much was it total for the shocks and to get it installed??

I am having this done on the new truck so I can level it out with a good shock.

$200 for install at Ford dealer.

I called two Ford dealers in the area about doing the install and one said I should do an alignment and the other said it would not be necessary.

I had them installed at the dealer that said it wasn't necessary...not for that reason but because the other dealer (which is actually closer) crushed my exhaust and would not pay for it when I spent nearly $500 having my 36,000 mile maintenance done.

I didn't change my ride height. I left it at the stock height rather than doing the 2" lift....so that is probably why they didn't suggest doing the alignment. The alignment would have been another $89.

I can let go of the wheel and the truck goes dead straight so I don't think I need an alignment.
