Thumbs up Level kit finally done

WELL THAT WAS ONE PROJECT THAT WENT FROM SMALL TO BIG BUT IT'S ALL OVER AND MY TRUCK LOOKS GOOD MINUS THE GOOFY STOCK TIRES THAT'S THE NEXT PROJECT. JUST ALITTLE HEADS UP I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE ELSE WILL RUN INTO THIS BUT HERE YOU GO I INSTALLED THE 2.5 AS $69.00 AND MY FRONT END SAT 1 INCH HIGHER THAN THE REAR SO I HAD TO BLOCK UP THE REAR WITH 1.5 BLOCKS FROM 4X4 PARTS $72.00 THEN I WENT TO BRAKE CHECK FOR AN ALIGNMENT LIFETIME FOR 99.00 PLUS LIFETIME TIRE BALANCING. THEN I GOT THE UH WE CAN'T GET IT PERFECT WITHOUT THESE CAM BOLTS $180.00 WTF!!! FINALLY GOT THEM DOWN TO $100.00 BUT STILL I COULD HAVE BOUGHT AN EXHAUST WITH ALL THIS EXTRA CRAP NEEDLESS TO SAY I'M FINALLY HAPPY WITH THE LOOK CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT WITH NEW TIRES 285-65-18 BFG'S COMING SOON WILL GET PICS UP LATER RUNNING LATE FOR WORK

Glad to hear you got it leveled, but it sounds like they may have taken your money with that cam bolt stuff. My 05 leveled did not require any extra hardware to have it aligned. I took it to a Ford dealership and in less then a couple hours I was back on the road with perfect alignment. No extras purchased either, maybe you did need them but it just seems like a gimmick to me. Either way lets see picks....

Next you can work on your cap lock key... it appears to be stuck.

Sweet, Yeah I've got the same problem right now with my front end sitting higher, 265/70/17 BFGs a/t ta kos. Can you post a link to the block kit you bought or just tell me who made it. Does it include everything or have to buy seperate parts? And do you HAVE to get a camber adjustment with a block kit?

I kinda had the same problem. This is how I fixed it.
I have an 03 supercrew. I added the AS to the front. Well the front end sat up 1" higher then the back. I took it into to get it aligned and was told about the camber bolts. I bought them at O'Riely for about $30 and hade them install them when they did the alignment for $50. The I bought some 20" MB Touring wheels wrapped with Cooper LTZ Zeon tires and they rubbed when I pulled the boat. So I bought a set of airbags for the back and installed them myself. When aired up the whole truck sits as high as a 4x4. I love the look now.

i also had the same issue with the alignment..... my shop charged me 110 per side for the aftermarket camber bolts..... the thing about the stock kit is just that its not as easy to do the alignment..... the aftermarket kits dont offer extra adjustment, they just make it easier.... i learned this afterwords of course.

I was just wondering because I got a leveling kit on its way but am worried now I should have gotten some blocks for the rear. Its a 4x4 and has 3 1/4" difference between the front and back, I guess Ill just have to find out when I get it on the truck.

I've got a 4x4 and I need to buy some blocks. He went with a 1" kit. I like the back sitting a little higher. I wanted more clearance for off-road and tires. I love the look from the front but the side kills me. Looks like i'm hauling rocks. Looks worse when I pull a trailer so I need to do something.

I stopped by a place today to ask about having the AS 2.5 front end kit and add a leaf installed and an alignment done and was quoted $450. The explanation was the replacement parts needed for the alignment. So, i want to make sure i read everything right. Replacement parts aren't necessary for the alignment to work? He also wanted 2 days to do the job. What's the best bet for finding someone that will align it without trying to snow me on it? I'm not sold on whether i want the add a leaf either.
