If you're only getting 10 mpg than there is something wrong. Look at your programmer and see what the speed limiter is set at.

 

I have rev and speed limiters turned off.

If there was anything wrong, wouldnt error codes appear? Ive got nothin...

Well if you're driving like that than it's expected. I don't think the dealer is going to do much when you take your modded truck in and say it won't go faster than 115 mph.

I dont care if it wont go over 115. Those were just gearing examples of how I lost top end for some reason. Because of that, you said there may be something wrong, then I remembered that im getting abbout 10mpg.

I would have taken it in for excessive gas usage. And yes, its modded, but out of warranty, so I doubt they would care. THey are getting payed.

Seems to be running fine though, I just have a lead foot. Ill take it in when those "idiot codes" start poppin up.

Anyyyywayyssss, back on topic.

So, about the bilsteins... I called the place back and for some reason they lost my order and had no record of it. So0o0ooo... I was going to Re-order and the guy again, told me $173, shipped for the front. Just to make sure, I asked him, for an 05 f150... the front struts, right? and he was like... OH, You have struts?!?.

So, he went and looked into it further, He was giving me a price on the older bodystyle f150 with regular shocks up front, not struts.

SOOooo, it is now 504 for front and rear and thats a lot of money, so im contimplating on whether to buy it.

You guys no alot more about shocks than I do most likely, If I hit a bump and the tires Vibrate after the bump (feels like the tires are jack-hammering the pavement) does that mean my shocks are needing to be replaced? It only happens on big potholes, but it just doesnt seem right. Is this normal? THe ranchos are also adjustable, maybe they just arent adjusted right?

 

hahahha, scratch that. I just pulled the trigger. 504.08. They will be here on tuesday or wednesday if they have it in their california location. He will call me monday, if they dont have it in stock there, then it will be here the following week on tuesday or wednesday.

1) 4x4 kid is interested...? Thats a reply? The last 3 posts from me were all posted within like, 30 minutes.

2) my "4" Rancho" has autospring spacers in the front and I have 6" fabtech blocks in the rear. That leads me to the point of my truck sitting 6" higher than stock.

...I actually am right around 7" to be exact. Im sitting about 1 " higher than my friend's fabtech.
