Deaver Leafs...

Hey all i have just recently got my RCD lift installed but i want to get rid of the blocks and put some 4 inch deaver leafs springs back there. Will it still sit the same or will i have to add a small block with the leaf pack??? Does anyone have any experience with the Deavers? Are they worth the money?
Thanks guys!
-Mike

ive got deavers. they are alright. I got sent 6" springs labeled as 4" springs for w/e reason. so i had to get 4" blocks from autospring. I wouldnt buy them from bajaconcepts.com though, it took them 3 months to get me my deavers and they lied about everything. They are great springs, really good ride. A ton better than the aal i had back there when i was running the AS up front. they dont do so hot pulling a trailer, there is lots of sag. but other than that im happy. In september they will get paired with king res. so that should make them that much better. hit me up if you need anything else, also there is some pics in my gallery. ill try to get some updated pics in there this week though with the 4" blocks.

i thought deavers was for more travel and flex in the suspension. they are a company that makes products for baja racers.

so, like fx4life said, youre gonna get a better ride due to the leaf being less stiff but when it comes time to load them up then theyre gonna sag.

doesnt superlift make springs for lifted f150s?

Sweet FX4life! I really like your truck. Right now i have the 6inch RCD and i want to get rid of the block in the rear. If i got the 4inch. Deavers do you think my truck would still sit about the same height in the rear? Also i don't really load up my truck with much other then my quad and a small trailer with a couple other quads so im not too worried about some sag when loaded ya know. Any info and pictures are much appreciated man!

You should come out the same height just make sure wherever you order from is getting you the 4" springs, for some reason i got 6" springs and I dont think they even sell 6" springs for our trucks.. ill get some pics later today, the truck is dirty though cause i couldnt resist the urge to mudd the past two days...

I never put the full Deaver leaf packs in my truck. I had the Deaver add-a-leaf.

doesnt superlift make springs for lifted f150s?
Just wanted to touch on this ... This is correct. The Deavers are meant for travel, flex, ride quality, etc with towing being last on their list of priorities. It's a trade off so of course they are going to sag. Deaver will custom make leaf springs though to whatever you want.

I don't think Superlift makes any leaf springs. I'm pretty sure BDS makes a set that are 5.5" of lift.

I am not really worried about the towing factor cause i barely tow at all and if i do its a small trailer with a couple quads. I just want to eliminate my blocks in the rear and want to know if this is the way to go!
