Lifted 6 + 3 = What size tow hitch

Ok I have a 6" suspension lift & 3" body lift however when the body lift was installed before the suspension lift they could not relocate the trailer tow package. Then the 6" suspension lift went on do I just need to get a 6" drop down tow hitch to attatch to a trailer ??

Thnx members ??

u want a 7-10 inch drop hitch i have a 6 inch solid steel hitch and its a little high u are roughly an inch taller than me with that body lift it will cost you anywere from 80-120 depending on what you get...but for the best answer go to a trailer and hitch shop if they dont have it they will order one for you...dont forget when measuring your total lift you have to calculate the suspension, body, and tiresnot just the suspension and body lift

I'm a tad bigger but 10" drop wasn't enough for me. the ***-end of my 16' atv trailer still drug across the ground. I had to get a 12" fixed drop hitch. Works great.

I'd go with an adjustable 6-10" drop hitch for your truck. http://grunionfabrication.com/rapid-...SD&language=en
I bought this one but it wasn't big enough.. Looks pimp tho! And you can fine tune it to your needs.

yes, you just want the 6" drop down. Thats the amount the hitch was lifted as long as you did no mods to the hitch when the body lift was put on (make sense).

Body lift = 0" lift for the hitch

Suspension lift = 6"

x2.

But if you put 37s on then your frame/hitch will be sitting 1" higher than if you had 35s.

I'd get the 8" drop hitch. I've got one brand new if you want it. It's the new version of the rapid hitch.
