Would shocks be too short???

Hello all! I'm going to install a 1.5" block in the rear to help with back end squating when loaded. I have a set of Bilstein shocks on the way, you know the ones that allow for 1" more lift. My question is, if I install a 1.5" block, will this be more than the shocks can handle?

Thanks!!! Wasn't sure, but didn't think the .5" extra would hurt.....not like I'm going off road or anything......Too bad, I only have a 2wd

Thanks again

no problem, the shocks should have about 2" room.

When you jack the truck up by the frame, the suspension unloads, including the shock. So you have 3-4" of travel above normal operating range. but usually 2" up or down is acceptable to stay in the operating range
