Now i know once you lift your truck you should forget about gas mileage but i am thinking about getting the 8" rize kit on my 04 screw fx4 5.4L and was just curious what gas mileage you all were getting with 8" lift and 37's

I am a tad bit taller than a 8" rize and i am on 36's. I am getting about 10 around town and about 13-14 on the highway. This is according to my edge. Pretty much its going to suck. Getting taller gears may help you a little.

 

You don't need to worry about gas mileage with them specs, cause it will suck...

I am running the stock 3:55 LS, (at the moment). soon to change. gas mileage suffers terribly.

 

thats why change your gears and you'll get way better

 

4.88's with 10.5" of lift on 39.5"s and chrome 20's and getting 11 in the city. Dont know about the highway yet.

 

Well, I'm back on stock tires for now, and I only get 10mpg driving in stop and go traffic up and down the hills in Socal. I don't know how you guys get so good on tires that big.

I put $100 bucks in the tank at about $2.80 a gallon and dont even get 300 miles....

 

2.80$ a gallon??? that is unheard of here in CA.

 

towed a trailer yesterday (sleeper sofa and two chairs with some random bs), stock 3.73's, and i basically got 10. i was around 1/8th tank and i had 250 miles on the trip. felt like i was in my damn mustang

 

did mine 2 days ago 12mpg, im getting my 4.88" put in tomorrow ill give you an update on sunday when i pick her up! i have 3.73's right now.

 

man $2.80 a gallon !! I envy you !!!!! We are closer to $3.80 per gallon
