Smile Eibach 2/2 drop kit for 2k7?

I am looking at getting the Eibach 2/2 drop for my 2k7 FX2 supercrew and found one with a decent price ~$200. The Eibach website says its for '04-07, but the vendor website notes its for '04-'06, is there a difference between the '06 & '07? Also, will I need to buy anything else, beside an alignment?

Any help is always appreciated....
Thx
Tim

Yeah it will work on your '07, and generally speaking a lot of the things you can buy on the internet like exhaust, suspension etc, says '04-'06 but it works on '07 F-150's fine.

If you have a 2 piece driveshaft you might want to look into a hangar kit but I don't think it's necessary for a 2" drop in the rear, as for the front, I have mine lowered 2" and I'm looking into a camber kit and I still need an alignment.

Most parts stores sell them for around $40.

I think the NBS f150's don't need a camber kit with a 2" drop in the front.

Mine does. I'll snap a picture for you when I can, my wheels are cambered in a good bit from just a 2" drop.

I haven't heard of anyone needing a camber kit for a NBS f150 with a 2" drop. It aligns without one from what I've heard.

the camber kit doesnt give you any more adjustability than the stock holes alone do. All it does is allow you to move the arm with a wrench instead of just moving them by hand. The elongated holes are still the same length which is what gives you no more range of movement. I did buy the eibach kit and basing this info from that, but all kits for the 04-07's would be the same. Dont waste the money on it, as its not needed.

I don't have a 07 to speak of but my Eibach kit with the 2/4 drop is great. I did opt for the camber bolts and it really helped things out. I know when I got it aligned the guy said having those really helped with aligning the front end to almost perfect.

With a set of expensive wheels and tires I'd rather spend the extra $$$ and not worry about it.

Camber Bolts = WORTH IT

I had my Eibach 2/2 installed Friday & I need a camber kit as well...I'm going to let the springs settle a little, ~1.5k miles, and then get the camber kit added...

Does your truck have the extra 1" block in the stock leafpack? If so, I'd remove it.

I was thinking of going with the eibach 2/3 drop, it comes with coils for the front and new leafs for the back. I already have drop shackles, so I could go down as much as 5" in the back if I need to.
