IDK someone might say it could bend or something like that. When I did my lift I put two 25 ton jack stands under my front frame horns and I had some guy tell me the front tow hooks were ment to break off and how I supported it was unsafe? Damn nice looking truck, if you ride we've got to meet at the dunes, maybe race in the sand drags

hey dude, i see you have the DL's yourself. The dont look cranked at all, have you adjusted them?

How far can you crank these things until they start taking a toll on the other components? Like i mean, how will you know when to "STOP" cranking them? Iam trying to gain the most height up front, as my rear is up with a 6" block so the front is sitting kinda lower. and i really wanted the pre-runner look or at least get it level. but iam scared of pushing the coilovers and other components to there limits.

Its a actually a fabtech 5" block, and my leaf springs had a 1" shim built into them. I tried beating them off when i went to install the blocks, but they are there for good. Check it out. Heres 2 angles, you can kinda see them.

maybe its just the angle of that second pic, but why does it look like your Ubolts are leaning forward? Looks like major axle wrap to me

I have to agree here, it does look like the axle is leaning forward.

Damn, I think the shims are in backwards especially looking at the pinion angle in the first picture!

the truck is on a slope in the driveway. the u-bolts are perfectly straight, as well as the axle. I get 0 axle wrap. And the shims are in there the same way than my setup before.

The truck looks like its park in an unloading ramp downward; this could be causing it to look so bad. I was thinking the same thing until I looked at how he is parked.

But the nuts on the u-bolts don't look even... You may want to put an angle gauge on your rear just to check your pinion angle.

Back to the shim, did someone install it for you or what?

Yes, this was on there when i had bought the truck. i tried removing it but it was built into the bottom of the leaf, i tried a punch and a hammer and it wouldnt budge.

and i will check the nuts on the ubolts, iam pretty sure they are all even.
