Who's got measurements before and after AS level?

Anybody have before and after measurements of the fender height change from an AS leveling kit? Either the 2" or 2.5" would help me out. I'm leaning towards the 2" but want to see what the actual lift would be.

I remember posts about the kits actually produce more lift than stated. I measured my 04 with stock worn out tires and got abour 39.5" in the rear and 36.5" in the front. I'd like to pick up about 2.5" in the front so it sits just below the rear. Would the 2.5" be too much and actually get me 3+ inches?

Thanks,
Greg

Just another note I forgot to mention. I'm currently running the stock Goodyear ATS 275/65/18's, and am thinking of upgrading to Toyo Open Country AT's in LT275/70/18 (33.0 X 11.0 X 18).

on my 2006 2wd i put a 2.5 auto spring kit and actually got 3 inches. The measurements are 37.5 inches in the back and i had 35 inches in the front and now i have 38 inches in the front, that is on my stock 255/65r17. My dad has a 2004 4wd and has a 2.5 inch kit and he has 33/12.50r17 and his measurements are 41 inches all around i don't know what they were before, he also got a shim kit in the rear, but his truck looks really good. Also if i were you i would consider putting on 35/12.50r18 on your stock rims, my dad is putting 35's on his and they will fit without to much rubbing

I dont have actual measurements as I put a lift kit on instead of a leveling kit, but I wish I had gone with the 8" rather than a 6" kit. I think most of us always wish it were just a little higher. My advice is to go with the 2.5 right now if you think you might fall into the category of "just a little higher"

If the kit lifted both the front and back I would opt for the "just a little higher" approach. But since this is only for the front, my main concern is getting the truck to sit level.

35's would look sweet for sure, but for me I think 33's will suit me best. I do a decent amount of towing and hauling, and don't want to get into new gears after the loss of torque with the bigger meats.

On my '05 FX4 I put on a 2.5" A.S. and got about 3.1" out of it. I also had a skyjacker 3" lift on that truck prior to that and got exactly 3". So it makes no sense why everyone consistantly rags on the SJ 3" for its angles. I didn't like it for other reasons.

On the 07 KR, I put on a 2" A.S. and netted 2.5" of lift. The truck sits about perfectly level. If I have anything in the box, the rear sags. I am going to either put in a small block of a Add-a-leaf, due to me hauling things often.

Greg, I recently installed a 2" AS level kit on my truck. Rear was 38 3/4" and front was 36 1/2" stock. After installing the level kit the front was 38 11/16". I also added Ride-Rite helper Airbags to keep it level all the time.

The 2" AS kit in my 06 4x2 Skrew makes my truck sit dead level... with a tool box in the back. If I put anything else heavy in the bed, it sags slightly below the front. If I'm pulling a trailer... forgetaboutit. But if I'm pulling a trailer, it's only for a short time and I'm not too worried about aesthetics at that point.

If you're looking to get your truck pretty close to dead even without any payload at all, the 2" kit is for you. Otherwise you might consider a 2.5" AS with an AAL in the back. It will sit a little higher in the back, but if you carry any loads, it'll still be level.

I went with the 2.5"AS in the front and a 1.5 Skyjacker AAL in the rear. I still haven't done any measurements. My bad!
