CV joint boot problem BAD

This is like the 3rd time to replace these boots. All have been factory boots and, to me, the factory boot is to hard like plastic. I have got to find some that are softer and maybe with a longer sleeve to clamp it on. I know my angles are more severe than stock... 6" fabtech with 2.5 spacer...it was the only way to clear my tires. I think a softer boot with fix this problem. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND SOME BOOTS FOR THIS DANG PROBLEM. I KNOW THEY ARE OUT THERE I JUST CANT FIND THEM. I WOULD LOVE ANY HELP AND GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS!!!!

Hate to say it, but the boots are tearing because of the angle - some have troubles others don't. The fix is to lose the spacers. Have you considered a 1 or 2". I won't throw the lecture about stacking lifts, but there's good reason the lift kit manufacturers don't recommend and most void their warranty.

i know the angles are not factory. Ive heard that 50 times today on the phone with different places. My question alone is ... Is there anywhere to get an aftermarket boot that is a softer rubber type material. I wont take the spacer out as i need it to clear my tires and mechanically havent had any problems except these punk boots. Just looking for a place to get an aftermarket boot that may be a lil softer! thanks guys

I spray my CV boots with Armorall dash protectant ever time I wash my truck. You might want to try this on your next boots. I prevents the boots from getting dry and ing.

Something like a silicone spray might help soften them up as well. Its pretty much the same thing as the armor all but it might work a little bit better.

These are available from All-Pro / Bumper-to-Bumper Auto Parts. If you don't have those named parts warehouses try O'Reilly or and professional jobber. As shown they are "PRECISION U-JOINT CORPORATION" parts and that is a major joint manufacturer.

They are only listed as 97-02. They do not list them for 04-up models. Trying them for an 04 is a chance.
