ok.. I looked again.. hieght to the roof top from the ground screw 6.5 bed .... 4x2 73.5 inches, 4x4 76 inches. So that is 2.5 inches taller for the 4x4. Pardon me for suggesting improper info. The interestin measurement listed is ground clearance to the rear axle housing lowest point.... 4x2 8.1 inches 4x4 8.2 inches. stranger still is the regular cab 4x2 is 8.3 and 4x4 is 8.7 inches. The scab is different still. Why would a lariet 4x4 screw and scab have different ground clearance at the rear axle? they come with the same tires.

Well when mine was stock i parked it next to a 4x2, it sat a good 2in lower, i think the 4x4 has like a 1in type of body lift or type of body spacer because theres a gap inbetween my frame and body and on a 4x2 it sits flush, my truck also had a 2in block, not sure if this helps or not but the rancho kit is good and sits close to most 6in kits that i have seen, thats just what ive seen i migh be wrong.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I think I'm going to save some $ over the winter and go with the Rancho 4" kit and 35 x 12.50s in the spring. I just wanted to get an idea of what it was going to look like. I was considering a level kit, but stuffed wheel wells, trimming and crappy suspension angles aren't worth it. If $2k is what it costs to do it right, then it is what it is.
