ive had the NCD spacers on for about 7 months and i just replaced my upper ball joints. there was slop in them but there is a slight chance it may have existed before the spacer. i dont think thats the case because the alignment shop would have said something when they fixed the toe-in it after the spacer was installed and i didnt see/feel anything wrong when i installed the spacer. my truck is a 2wd 2004 with 68000 miles so maybe the ball joints were at thier limit and the spacer put enough pressure on them to finish it off. but i personally dont think a $700 upper control arm with a uniball is worth it unless the truck sees some serious dirt time. maybe the NCD arm will be cheaper though...

in the meantime ill end up putting the ground force 2in shackle kit on to level it out again.

I believe the NCD arm will cost around $475.00. They will utilize a heim joint in place of the ball joint.

The bolt that u need the 30 mm socket for and the big wrench, i nkow its supposed to be tight but this is rediculous, i also cant even get the 30 mm socket on all the way, seems like i need a 31mm but cant find one, did anyone else have this problem? Any ideas to help me out?

I had no problems. It was on tight, but nothing that a breaker bar couldn't take care of.

Mine came off easy. I didn't even use a breaker bar, just the ratchet, 30mm socket and a wrench.

i didnt have any problems either, and i didnt even have a 30mm, i had to use an adjustable. try a breaker bar with the 1 1/16ths, I should help out a lot, also, i believe i used the adjustable on the nut, and the breaker bar on the bolt end. I know that is bassackwards, but it was the only way i could get it to budge.

hope that helps!
