You do have a point and i didnt look to far into it yet but i do remember reading a post about the read lift leveling kit and that its about a 3" lift total so im thinking that by going with the ready lift then it wont be such a bad idea to purchase new uppers. Still looking into it and any more information about it would be great!!

I'm installing my 2.5" AS and 1.5" AAL on Thursday.

What about his idea of a bump stop? Any thoughts on if it woudl work or help at all?

i had the same set up 2.5 inch spacer and bilstein shocks, the shocks are not the cause of the problems. the shocks helped out the ride, and do not lift the truck. my angles were not that bad.

I installed my autospring kit with the new shocks and it was still the same. When I put my stock shocks back on, the ride was perfect. I think I may have got a bad set of shocks or something.

My brother in law and myself installed the 2" AS on his 04 and my 06 about a month ago. The angles on both trucks were not that bad. Both of our trucks sit almost completely level. The front is about 1/4" lower than the rear, but not noticable if you didn't know.

Thanks for the pics, you've made up my mind that I don't want anything to do with any spacer lift on my truck.

I would suggest the limiting straps instead of the bumpstop. There is a reason why the baja racers use them...they work.

EDIT And if you are set on making your own thing then take apart a tow rope and make your own straps.

Here is a pic of my angles after installing the AS 2.5 kit yesterday. Not too severe looking at all.

I just got my 2.5 as and just wanted to no what your measurements were from the ground to top of wheel arch before and after install. I have about 2 3/4" difference from front to back so hopefully the 2.5 AS will work out just nice for a 2.5" lift. But i have read some peeps getting 3" lift from a 2.5 AS. This will look terrible if i get a 3" lift from mine. If this happens i will call AS and see about getting a 2" to replace the 2.5" lift.

The angles look pretty severe to me.

Personally, I have a 2wd, and I had the 2" AS spacer on my truck without any problems, but I didn't like the angles it created, plus the UCA hit the coil spring at full suspension extension so I took it off before any problems could occur. I had the new offset design AS.

If I had a 4wd I'd be concerned about those angles and excessive wear.

I had my local Ford dealership install my AS 2.5 about 3 weeks after I bought my truck. My angles do not look anywhere near what yours are. Double check everything. I've had my AS 2.5 now closing in on 1 year and no issues at all. The truck rides great and sits nice and level.
