Proof of 2.5" AS potential problem!!

i had the same set up 2.5 inch spacer and bilstein shocks, the shocks are not the cause of the problems. the shocks helped out the ride, and do not lift the truck. my angles were not that bad.
My brother in law and myself installed the 2" AS on his 04 and my 06 about a month ago. The angles on both trucks were not that bad. Both of our trucks sit almost completely level. The front is about 1/4" lower than the rear, but not noticable if you didn't know.
I would suggest the limiting straps instead of the bumpstop. There is a reason why the baja racers use them...they work.
EDIT And if you are set on making your own thing then take apart a tow rope and make your own straps.

I just got my 2.5 as and just wanted to no what your measurements were from the ground to top of wheel arch before and after install. I have about 2 3/4" difference from front to back so hopefully the 2.5 AS will work out just nice for a 2.5" lift. But i have read some peeps getting 3" lift from a 2.5 AS. This will look terrible if i get a 3" lift from mine. If this happens i will call AS and see about getting a 2" to replace the 2.5" lift.
The angles look pretty severe to me.
Personally, I have a 2wd, and I had the 2" AS spacer on my truck without any problems, but I didn't like the angles it created, plus the UCA hit the coil spring at full suspension extension so I took it off before any problems could occur. I had the new offset design AS.
If I had a 4wd I'd be concerned about those angles and excessive wear.

Ive got the same problem
Ive got the 2.5 leveling kit installed on my f150 but ive got the stock shocks and my angels are the same exact way ive had it aligned and it didnt change the angle a bit. Has anyone found a solution for this problem yet.
I had my local Ford dealership install my AS 2.5 about 3 weeks after I bought my truck. My angles do not look anywhere near what yours are. Double check everything. I've had my AS 2.5 now closing in on 1 year and no issues at all. The truck rides great and sits nice and level.
