Min. Lift Required to get 35"s on a 4X2?
I have a 2006 4X2 Supercrew with the Autospring 2.5" level kit. I know that I can accomodate P285/70R17s (which is 32.8") on the stock wheels.
My questions are: what is the minimum amount of lift I'd need to accomodate 35" tires on the stock wheels, and what is the best and least expensive way to achieve this lift?

I would like to know how everybody is fitting these larger than life tires and supposedly not have any rubbing issues. I just installed a 6" lift on my 4x4 and put 35's on and they still rub without even flexing, just as 33's did when I had a leveling kit on

Hey NWAF-150 the reason you were rubbing is the width and backspacing of your wheel, he's trying this on factory wheels...
So dot dot, my opinion is to try bolting up someone elses wheel/tire you like and see how it fits and go from there, every truck sits different...
I bolted up a 275/70R18 today on my truck without any lift and it barely rubbed in the back side of the front wheel...
And that tire measures 33.15 inches in height...

) but I think you'd be pushing the limits on tire width and what your stock wheel can handle.

Check my gallery for more pics but my sig has a picture of my truck with BFG 35x12.5x18's on it. We put them on just to see if they would fit and how much rubbing there would be. They fit fine but there was rubbing at full lock. My guess if you had the right backspacing/offset you could run 35's without rubbing for most city driving.

Can we get some pic`s of your wheels at full lock ?
If You Want To Keep A Low Stance On Your Truck And Even Be Able To Run 37's Look For A Long Travel Kit Such As NCD. Might Be More Than A Conventional Kit But Its Well Worth It... and as for 35 they fit with a completly stock rear suspension... but a 6 inch should be able to get you what you need
