Arrow Tire/Whl/lift decisions driving me nutz!

Aloha to you all from Hawai'i,

I'm new to this site and forums in general, so please bare with me. Here is my trouble:
Tires/Wheels -I just bought the 6" Fabtech lift (thanks to research on this site for selection) and Edge Evo-programer through 4wheelparts.com. I paid 2300 shipped to Hawai'i, which is a smokin' deal here. I was going to order the 17x9 Procomp 8179's with 315-70R17 M/T Baja MTZ's, but I really like the wide tire stance for my truck and I'd like to stay in the 17" wheel category. I would like a 17x10 or even better a 17x12 rim and 35" tire. Anyone have any suggestions?
Lift -To me, the 6" lift would look sick with a 2.5" spacer like "Trooks2001". What brand spacer works best? Also, is it safe/reliable? I have a beautiful wife and two awesome kids and Iwould hate to put them at risk to a faulty product/combination.

Mahalo for all of you all's help and Keep truckin'! Laters.

'Trooks2001'- What type of lift do you have in the rear? block and AAL or all spring? Thanks in advance.

If you want the wide look, just go with 10 inch wide wheels like Trooks2001. I would go ahead and go with 18x10's to make sure they fit over your brakes. There have been some fitment problems with some (not all) aftermarket 17 inch wheels on some 2005 and newer F-150's due to a change in brake calipers.
