6" lift question

i am going to lift my truck 6" with 35" terra grapplers on a pro comp suspension. i was wondering would that lower my gas miles and how high would the bed be? Also is pro comp a reliable lift?

Pro COmp lifts are fine. Anytime you lift a truck and install taller tires you are gonna lose some mpg's.

you will lose mpg but if you do more highway driving you will be better off then city driving. since it takes more to get you going. but once your at highway speed you will run at lower rpms then stock which in the end saves gas mileage.

My PC lift has been on my 04 screw for 2 years. So far all is good and no complaints at all.
However I painted over most of the lift with the best rust paint "POR 15" due to some rust in this winter salt enviroment. Great paint BTW. With the installation of a Superchip programer, U/D pulleys, E-fan and JBA headers my fuel economy went up...if I drive like I want to achive good fuel mileage.

For a whole satep, you can expect to pay between $5,000-7,000.. That is: lift, installation, wheels, and tires..

I got a quote last where if I simply took my truck to the shop and had them order everything and install it it would run about $5100. I asked if I could order everything myself and just have them install it and they said yes. I then came home and did some online shopping and can order everything take it there and with install it will cost me around $4100.

Depending on the lift and tire/wheel setup you are going with it will cost you more or less than that.
